Mental Health in the Workplace: The Essentials

Mental Health in the Workplace is a comprehensive introduction to the relevance and importance of understanding mental health in the workplace.

Course Summary:

Psychological H&S is as important to the well-being of a workforce as physical health and safety. The cost of ignoring the mental health of those around you can show up in unexpected ways.

This workshop is not just an introduction to the topic but will provide a clear direction for incorporating employee mental health into your organization’s occupational health and safety policies, as well as day-to-day practices. Participants gain confidence in navigating situations involving mental health at work sensitively and effectively and learn the vital role they can play in making the workplace a psychologically safer and healthier place to be.

You don’t have to have all the answers, but it helps to be able to recognize signs of stress and distress, be comfortable initiating a conversation and connecting people with the right resources.
